With the M-624HSi, Branson is introducing the first "all-electric" vibration welding machine for plastic parts into the market. It has been specially designed for medium-sized parts, such as tail lights, expansion tanks and intake manifolds with a welding surface of up to 500 cm².

With the M-624HSi, Branson is introducing the first "all-electric" vibration welding machine for plastic parts into the market. It has been specially designed for medium-sized parts, such as tail lights, expansion tanks and intake manifolds with a welding surface of up to 500 cm².

This meets the market demands for precision, repeat accuracy and speed, even at a weld force of 25000 N.

The new vibration welding machine unifies an innovative electric lift table drive with the current top performer, the electromagnetic vibration head drive (with new patented PMT technology), which has proven itself time and time again. At 500 mm/s, the new electric drive achieves double the speed of comparable, hydraulically driven lift tables, and thus offers a dramatic reduction in cycle times, noise emission and a lower power consumption up to 80 percent.

With these features, the “all-electric” sets a new standard for the future, especially in applications using infrared preheating. The machine provides the necessary very short switchover times that enable effective preheating of the welding surface to achieve a homogenous, notch-free weld bead without fluff and measurable particles.

The new PMT Vibration-Head-Technology, with a trajectory control and high speed amplitude ramps, completes the new development regarding particle reduction, seam optics and strength.

The M-624HSi is equipped with the VC100, our innovative Soft-PLC control system. The controller with its intuitive, user friendly HMI allows complex machine parameter configuration and is integrated in our future oriented TeleService concept.
